Can you add a motor to paddle kayaks?

Yes, you can add a motor to nearly all of BKC’s kayaks. Most models accept a trolling motor with a compatible mount (or with screw holes provided), allowing you to cover more ground as you find your favorite fishing hole.
How stable are BKC paddle kayaks?

All Brooklyn Kayak Company kayaks are built with stability in mind. Our kayak design boasts wide beams and a stable hull shape. This results in excellent primary stability, suitable for recreational kayaking or kayak fishing in rivers and lakes.
Can I transport a paddle kayak by myself?

For easier transport, focus on buying a single paddle kayak that is smaller, or a kayak that breaks down (modular) into transportable pieces. In addition, a kayak cart will let pair of wheels do most of the heavy lifting for you.
What is the most comfortable seating option for paddling?

Most BKC paddle kayaks come with or can be upgraded to an aluminum framed kayak seat, considered the most comfortable by most kayakers. The back support and elevated paddling position keep you drier and more comfortable out on the water.
